You seen to have misunderstood how password managers work - or this is satire?

That said, LP has been problematic since forever for a couple of reasons:

- They don't encrypt their entire store (endpoint or webstore). Last I looked at LP's it was username and password only - other fields were *not* encrypted.

- They have a history of taking their sweet time in notifying users they've had a breach so those users could change passwords. If you were using LP through the period in which they had a breach, then waited months to announce it, they've fooled you once. Keep using it and the next time is on you.

If you're looking for a password manager, check out Bitwarden. UI's a tiny bit clunkier than LP, but it's open source, has been audited multiple times; if you have issues with any pw manager having an encrypted copy of your store, it supports self-hosting. There's a free 'personal use' tier that does a lot - but I opt to pay for it. Even then, it's 'way cheaper than LP. I've no connection with BW other than as a user/customer.
