You have evidence of this? Everything I've read indicates little connection between saturated fat intake and serum lipids composition*, never mind the arterial epithelial layer (tunica intima) in contact with the serum, where small dense particles somehow get between those 'tight' junctions, followed by macrophages which turn into 'foam' cells.
*but there does seem to be one between saturated fats and risk of T2DM (correlational - mechanism currently 'not understood').
