Agreed. But if you want to get better I can heartily recommend pretty much anything by Adam Marelli (someone who went to art school and is great at sharing what he's learned). You can find some of his videos on youtube (part of the B&H series). If you think there's some there there, he's got courses on Udemy. They're normally about US$20, but Udemy has periodic sales.

I've been landscape shooting since the late 60s - and I still got something from each of them. Now, I'm just checking Udemy every so often to see if he's made another. It's not about the gear, it's about your ability to see - and he can help you get there.

Agreed 100%. But if you get into this, you will eventually find that your current gear you has limitations keeping you from doing what you want. No need to buy anything beyond your actual needs - and working around limitations really does help the creative process. So no need to hurry.
