It's about to get a lot easier. The risk of dementia goes up considerably with any glucose issues. It's unclear whether it's spikes of high glucose, high insulin, spreading insulin resistance, or reduced O2 carrying capacity from high HbA1c, but given the current obesity epidemic we're about to see a *lot* more dementia. It's possible to be both obese and metabolically healthy, but that's a small minority.
