Not sure what you mean here, but given the underwater image 'gurgling' brings to mind, I *have* to point out that (at least as of before the pandemic) commercial divers were the highest paid hourly workers in the US. Many of them are 'sat' divers, either working underwater or confined to their pressurized quarters for days on end - and paid that hourly rate for the entire time.
