VP Harris labeling what Russia is doing as 'crimes against humanity' is a big deal. The US pretty much never makes that kind of declaration. It means that the US will never accept normalized relations with the Putin government - and may or may not with whatever follows. It also means that if Putin flees Russia, he'll be hunted.
