To be fair, there are some things that seem kind of woo-woo, but have a decent amount of research.

Next up: something to stimulate that muscle, either an under-desk device that constrains motion so someone can be sure they're activating the right muscle - or some kind of electric stimulation like TENS. I'd expect at least some quackery mixed in.
