To be as fair as possible, the Jehovah's Witnesses do a good job of going to sources as close to original as possible. Religion-wise, I'm a 'nothing' (was raised that way) but if you're interested in that era of history the JWs who turn up on your doorstep are good for interesting conversation. Contra wise, if you want them to go away, telling them you don't accept the bible as the word of god will send them on their way. Personally, I tell them that first, then ask if they'd like to come in and discuss scripture. Most leave, but I've had a couple of 'em stay for scholarly discussions. Not sure I'd do that now that there's covid...
