Time to ask my dr to include vitamin D next time I get blood work done.
I got curious about nmol. Turns out a mol is “as many elementary entities as there are atoms in 0.012 kg of carbon 12” Nano means 10 to the -9.
I’m guessing they picked C12 as it’s an element, unlike water, which the metric system is based around. Any idea? I’m very much not a chemist.
