This looks to be a LLM replacement for It's Lenny, which has been around for decades. Back when I had a digital PBX in my basement, I used to run it on any incoming spam-complaint number. I live in a state where two parties on the call need to give permission to record, so I didn’t record, but I often had CDRs (call records showing some caller had a half hour or longer conversation with dim, gullible-sounding “Lenny”.
It could tie up human telemarketers, but the end result is that my numbers were a prime target for robocallers (I’m using something else to divert robocallers which I won’t get into.)
