This is all assuming the Ukrainians are somehow persuaded to forgive the country that invaded them, destroyed civilian infrastructure seemingly with no rationale other than to terrorize the population, committed war crimes (beyond the above infrastructure destruction).

And on the other side, the Russians are willing to forgive the ten thousands of deaths of their young men. I've no idea if they'll blame the hundreds of thousands currently being mobilized on Putin (for mobilization) or their inevitable deaths on Ukraine (that's who killed them).
