There’s something to try if you wear a helmet. (you do, right?)

Put a stripe of red reflective tape up the back, then yellow (or white) arrow shapes to either side. Your natural head motion of looking back and forth between straight ahead and your turn destination will make for a red-yellow-red-yellow arrow signal in anyone’s headlamps behind.
