That brings up something potentially of interest. The ICRC has stated that photos of POWs in which the POW is "identifiable" should not be published. As best as I can tell there's nothing specific like that in any version of the Geneva convention - and the RF unilaterally withdrew from the Convention about a year before the invasion so it's arguable that it doesn't apply.

There was a bit of a back-and-forth about this back when photos and videos of RF POWs being held by Ukraine were released back in Feb or Mar.

If they're all of POW 'backs', I'd guess that there might have been a "no POW faces' directive.
