'Stochastic parrot' is a perfect description of current (linguistic prediction model) AI.

The only downside is that I have to explain 'stochastic' in order to use it in conversation. I have had better luck explaining what General AI (AGI) is and why pre-trained prediction models aren't it. We don't even have AGI at the level of, say, a cat. AAGI artificial animal general intelligence, if you will.

It'd be nice if we went back to calling non-general AI "expert systems", but that horse seems to be out of the barn.

As far as crypto goes, that's been a scam all along.
