Software guy here. Musk has been spouting some of the dumbest software things I've heard. Not that Twit is a software company - it's more of a connections company where the users provide value - so long as they're there. And you can turn that value into money via advertisers - but only if their ads don't appear next to something their potential customers might find offensive.

So drive users to Mastodon, and make advertisers put things on pause. I guess his 'genius' plan is working.

On top of that, he seems to be doing his best to piss off potential Tesla buyers - and that's making Tesla stock owners recalibrate. Another 'genius' plan?
