After getting over my surprise that there was such a thing (nuclei are *small*) I went searching for articles on how it might work with neurons *not* behind a paywall. I found

FWIW, I did some controls work with robotic microfluidics equipment aages ago, gave me an appreciation for how *hard* it is at that scale - and we were working with samples the size of a ethrocyte (red blood cell), not that of a cell nucleus - and yes I'm aware RBCs don't have nuclei.
