Given the ongoing mortality from Covid in China, it's not clear they have any to spare. The crematoriums have very long lines of both hearses and families with caskets. I've seen videos of temporary furnaces being built in the street, families opting for pyres.
That said, I would tend to believe Moulton. He's a very straight shooter, has the military background to evaluate claims - particularly info he's gotten 'on the ground'.
