Non sleep apnea / snoring sufferer here.

Given the anatomy of apnea (and snoring) I can't help but wonder how much relief might come from simply not sleeping on your back. I know an 'old-time' solution for snoring was to attach some kind of lump to the center of the back of whatever nightwear a snorer was to wear. I'd also point out that to be a comfortable side-sleeper takes a different mattress, and a pillow that can hold your head so your cervical column is approximately straight.

Also, Wellue has what appears to be a decent nighttime O2 monitor (I think it has a low O2 vibration alarm). I used to be a private pilot - and wish something like this had been available back then.

Just wondering aloud. If you've tried something like this and it didn't work, I'd be interested in knowing - even if you call me a bad person for mentioning this - although I'd hope you don't. :-)
