Actually, all the Republicans seem to care. If you look at the news releases, it's really easy to see what side of the political spectrum they come from.

If the Republicans were proud of this - they've spent the last thirty years getting a SC that would do this - they'd be trumpeting "Look what we got done for our voters!" and "Vote for us for more of this!"

They're not sounding proud of themselves at all. Personally, I think they're the dog that caught the car. That situation doesn't usually end well for the dog. As for the Republicans...?
