Nikon guy here. I'll buy another of their DSLRs. Weighing the relative merits of the D780 and D850.

Why not M/L Nikon? I've got a lot of film era glass, A/F doesn't operate through their lens adapter - and Nikon's PDAF units are really, really good, particularly in lower available light. I’d rather not give that up.
