My only concern around bisphenol-A is when it is used with an acidic food, like tomatoes. So I avoid canned tomato products.

Looking at my pantry, just about all the tinned fish there has a ‘BPA-free’ notation on the can. I didn’t go looking for BPA fish, it’s just the ‘good stuff’. Go figure.

BTW, I’d suggest Bar Harbor ‘skinless boneless smoked sardine fillets’ to anyone looking for a reasonably-priced ‘gateway’ to good tinned fish.
