If you love, love, love the espresso that you used to be able to get in a coffee shop, and the coffee that comes out of a moka pot just isn’t measuring up, check out the 9Barista. There’s a good review here. The issue with a moka pot is that it brews with not-quite-enough pressure and too-hot water. The 9Barista does some very clever (and expensive to manufacture) things to fix that.

Personally, I’m more of an Aeropress fan. No, it doesn’t make espresso (you need 9 Bar pressure to to do that) but it makes spectacular coffee — and I’m not making coffee drinks, just coffee. It’s the perfect device to make coffee strong enough to pour over ice for good iced coffee.
