Meta analysises (analyses?), particularly the ones that explicitly disclaim looking at the studies they're doing their meta analysis on, make me wonder if it's worth the bother of reading. Thanks for doing the slog for the rest of us!
That said, more studies need to include all cause mortality and express relative risk more explicitly (statin and low fat diet studies, I'm looking at you). 'More explicitly' in the sense of not just using the word 'relative' but followed with the two absolute risks in parentheses; make it harder to misunderstand / misrepresent.
