I recognized this from 'The 13th Warrior' (one of my favorite movies and IMO the best movie version of Boewulf out there).
I did some googling; it seems that this isn't an English translation of an Old Norse prayer but something they created from an Arabic narrative.
For anyone who hasn't seen the movie, put it on your watch list.
