Like olive oil, avocados are about 70% oleic acid. There have some recent studies showing that oleic acid is 10-100% as effective as resveratrol in activating sirtuins

In the US, most supermarket olive oil isn't what it says on the bottle. Best case is it's marked as 'extra virgin' but is actually a lower grade. (FWIW CA Olive Oil ranch oil is legit). Worst case is that it's some other oil with some chlorophyll for coloring

But an avocado is an avocado.
