Use pass phrases any time the system allows it. Pass phrases are much harder for a computer to guess than passwords, and much easier for you to remember.

Just don’t use CorrectHorseBatteryStaple :-)

Most password managers have a ‘notes’ or ‘text’ field associated with each login. I use generated passwords for any recovery questions, and copy them in the notes area.

Also, 2FA gets a lot more convenient with something like a Yubikey
