I've used 'em with 35mm film cameras. Donut shaped bokeh (which all mirror lenses have) I never liked the sharpness, contrast, or acutance (edge sharpness) - and I almost always had issues with veiling flare. The ones I used had a fixed aperture. Not usually an issue as they were slow anyway.
