I've seen some analyses that mention that the bridge should not come down as its existence is a potential negotiating point. But I have doubts as leaving the bridge means Russia still has access, the reason they'd need access is the base in Sevastopol, and I think the Ukrainians realize that they just cannot allow Russia any kind of military presence anywhere in Ukraine - or there will be more "little green men".
Speaking of Sevastopol, I hear most people pronounce it se-VAS-topol, but Ukrainians on youtube seem to be saying seva-stopol. I wonder if it's Ukranian pronunciation vs Russian...?
