I've seen a couple of studies showing that creatine can slow muscle loss (sarcopenia) in people over 60. I wonder if it might also help those folks gain muscle...(?)
Disclaimer: I'm well over 60 and have been taking a low dose of creatine (.03mg per kg) simply to reduce the methyl donors I need.
[edit] since I wrote this, I’ve seen evidence that creatine has cognitive benefits as well. I’m considering upping my daily dose to 5g (.05mg/kg) [/edit]
