I've read that protein absorption per meal tops out under 5g. I'd hope you are spreading that out through the day(?)
I'm in my 70s. I'm aware that I need to ingest more protein as our ability to recycle amino acids goes down as we age so I need to consume as much as I can, but as someone who eats two meals a day (IF) I don't see a way to usefully consume more than 10-15g per day.
That said, back when I was in training (10-15mi / week in the water) I was eating *constantly* when I was out of the water and not sleeping.
