It would be interesting to see Miller-Urey replicated but with UV in place of an electrical arc. I expect that's been done. The hard part is analysis of results, and now we have mass spectrometers and gas chromatographers. Even a high school student could do it. Hey, I did a replication for Science Fair - and no, I didn't win; lost to someone with much better posters :-(

Anyway, there are UV emitters designed for water purification that would make setup significantly easier - and the circulation might be unnecessary.
