It was solid against it in the 50s (Ancel Keys, then a perversion of nutritional 'science'), but we've swung back to 'beneficial' on the 00s (stearic acid vs polyunsaturated). Now it's tilting back to 'unhealthy' (trigs) in large quantity but it's still way better for you than polyunsaturated fats.
BTW, that 'lol' tells me you have no clue any of this has been going on. If you do, quote some actual studies.
