It might be time for a US carrier group (or two) to visit the Arabian Sea for "courtesy visits" at some of the ports.
China is dependent on energy coming from the Persian Gulf. This might be a gentle way to remind them that the US can, in addition to imposing the same sanctions that are now in place against the RF, interrupt energy flow.
