Does causing Russia to stop an invasion they launched, give back territory they've grabbed, essentially to go back to the situation ante bellum a defeat? Does it mean they're surrendering? I don't think so, they can just go back to their country which is currently undestroyed.

Sadly, I can't say the same thing about the Ukraine.
