Interesting study!

It has some shortcomings, notably self-reporting, "No delineation between caffeinated and de-caffeinated coffee, or methods of preparation... was possible...", and nothing on time-of-day of consumption. Lack of sleep is a notable confounder in CNS studies so evening consumption might give a clue here. I also note that they didn't exclude shift workers.
