In the general scheme of things, raw format isn't all that big. I mostly keep all raw format shots so long as they aren't flawed.
Oh, 8TB in RAID10, plus incremental backups, old stuff on AWS Glacier. I learned on transparencies, never got into 'spray and pray', Never had a reason to go past 24 MP (I don't print bigger than 32").
Probably only about 3-4TB used.
The NAS in my basement is *tiny* compared to the wall of boxes for slides I used to have (scanned a lot of those).
BTW for anyone out there with loads of slides, it makes sense to buy a decent scanner on ebay, then resell it when you're done.
