Well, of course we can. It's more a matter of asking why anyone at all should bother with essentially joining 4chan or "Truth" or Parler in order to make a rich person even richer? He's laid off half the Twitter workforce, has shown he has no intention of policing hate speech. Charging for check marks to the side, twitter makes money from advertisers paying for viewer eyeballs; leaving is a way to stick a thumb in Musk's eye. Avoiding assholes being assholes is just a side benefit. As is no longer being the "product" being sold.

If Black Twitter wants to stick around, they have my admiration. I'd just hope they're establishing a presence over on one of the alternative platforms (e.g. Mastodon).
