If you're on Godaddy, price is the least important reason to migrate away. Try searching for "Godaddy horror stories". I have one myself: I was trying to help a client as their IT guy died suddenly and hadn't thought to share (or write down) all the company's passwords. Without a password GD was unwilling to accept payment, let their domain expire. The were willing to sell it back - for several hundred dollars. The other stories you'll find are loads worse.
Litterally *anything* is better than them, and most of those are cheaper. I can't speak to cloudflare, but namecheap is pretty good. If the author has used both and thinks CF is better, it probably is.
