If by 'Russian people' you mean 'all the people in the Russian Federation', it's worth remembering that more than half of them are not ethnically Russian - and I'm not at all sure that the ethnic Russians are the ones most likely to stand up. I'd look to Dagestan and Chechnya to be first.
