If you're going to use a microwave, there's no need to get the quick variety; rolled works fine. Cooking goes even faster if you're starting out with hot water, so if you go to the gym/pool/etc on your way to work, some rolled oats with water from the "filtered hot water for tea" tap microwaves in 2-3 minutes.
