If they were considering in-city practicality there'd be at least an option for front or rear panniers or a rack or front basket. But those are all hard to make look 'cool', so maybe something like a (cordura?) 'tank' bag that can snap on and off. There's a lot to be said for carrying things where you can just glance away from traffic to see you haven't lost anything...
Also, as someone who's done some restoration of very old motorcycles (Lars Anderson museum) I find this second move from pedal-power to footpegs very reminiscent of the first time when people realized that pedals were more hindrance than they were worth as engine and required frame weight was turning them into very bad bicycles - although I did have one friend who lived in the UK who was able to register his cafe racer as a moped as it had (nonfunctional) pedals mounted to the outside of the fairing. Pretty sure that loophole was closed in the mid 70s...
