If it makes you feel any better, I've had that 'framing' issue since I was in my 20s (I was working at a motorcycle dealership. Running downstairs to the parts department was often enough to derail my memory of what exactly I'd gone to fetch - it would come right back as soon as I went back up the stairs.)

As far as Photoshop keyboard shortcuts, around that same time I was using it for a side gig doing WEB printer setup. It was spectacular for that. I'd memorized all the keyboard open-a-tool shortcuts - and they changed them in the next version(!)
