I'd put a number of bacteria, archaea in the 'biologically immortal' group. But those aren't 'animals' as that implies mitochondria which they don't have. But planaria are animals, and multiply by tearing themselves in half; each half then regenerates into a complete animal. Also, they're the most recent common ancestor we have with octopi...
