Unfortunately, a couple of months later, one of the bottlings, Clairin Casimir, was taken off the shelves due to the presence of lead contamination.
I’d guess it was from lead solder holding the parts of a still together. I’d guess it’d be relatively inexpensive for Casmir to make both lead free solder, mapp gas (for the higher temps needed for the lead-free) and lead test strips to their individual distillers.
