I was using "turnover" to dance around using the term "Ponzi". I figure I can use it buried this deep in the responses. Yes, we call it insurance, but if you look at what people are paid, and compare it to what they (and their age-cohort) paid in, it's really not. Agreed that we can never have any form of socialism - but I'd add that that's only anything that is explicitly labeled 'Socialism', at least until the last of us who lived through the cold War die off.
