I prefer the Kailh low-profile blue switches. For me, they're the perfect combination of tactile feedback and low-ish noise (way quieter than normal profile blues). I'm not a gamer, but I do type appreciably faster on this than even the classic ALPS mechanical keyboard - and that thing makes a racket.

If you're looking for an example, check the Havit HV KB-390L. It's super-thin for a mechanical, which allows me to reverse-tilt the keyboard (part closest to me slightly higher than the part furthest away. Off topic, but try a keyboard tilted this way. much easier on the wrists.
