I picked one of those up for a good bit less at a yard sale. It uses a Peltier junction for cooling (not as energy efficient as state change) and only takes 12VDC. But I had a box of 112/240VAC to 12VDC converters. So that didn't matter.

I mostly don't use it, just got it 'cause I think Peltier junctions are cool. :-)
