…fewer plastic containers into my blue bin

I have the same concern, although I’ve read that there’s a recycling issue with the plastic used in the single-serve containers. We do recycle a lot of Brown Cow quart containers, though.

We have a dairy a few towns over that still delivers — and we’re in their delivery area. So we can get milk/cream in returnable glass bottles. Only the waxed paper tops go to the landfill.

I’ve been looking at the NYT recipe as well. Did you follow it exactly, with non-ultra-homogenized milk? I’ll buy an InstantPot if that’s the only way, but we’re pretty much out of counter space. We’re about to change from a gas range to induction. The new oven will have a ‘proofing’ mode, so maybe the right temp for culturing yogurt(?)
