I eat a lot of frozen cranberries and low-bush blueberries. Those both have a definite 'season' outside of which they're just not available - and they keep frozen just fine.

BTW, those pictured frozen raspberries shouldn't have ice crystals. Those are an indication of either poor storage or slow initial freezing. They're photogenic, and shout 'frozen!' (maybe why you picked that shot?) but I'd be unhappy if my frozen berries looked like that.
