I don't for one moment think that Russia, under sanctions, with a military that's demonstrably ineffective is going to be able to modify the relationship between Israel (demonstrably effective military) and the Palestinians. They're just looking for a way to rattle Israel's cage.

I think the situation in Israel re Palestinians is beyond bad, but the only way forward now appears to be a single state, with Israeli citizenship going to all Palestinians. Let them vote!
